“Magnus, honey, it’s time to wake up.” Magnus groaned as he opened his eyes, blinking away the blur in his vision. His mother was smiling and leaning over him. He smiled back and unbuckled his seatbelt before getting out of the car. There was the smell flowers in the air; it was fresh and crisp, not overwhelming. Magnus looked around, taking in his surroundings. There were a few cars in front of theirs, kids surrounding them and unpacking the boxes within. A brief hope sparked in Magnus. Maybe he wouldn’t have to carry everything up himself. The redhead could hear his parents talking to him, but it all just su
